3 LED light joule thief using parts I have lying around

I made another joule thief using parts I have lying around. I don't know if the huge ferrite core I am using would make any difference in the effectiveness of the joule thief.
I used 20 gauge enamel wire to wrap around the ferrite core 16 turns. The single AA battery can probably power many more LEDs. I have ordered two 100 farad supercapacitors and I might use them to see how long I can power the joule thief with the capacitors.
It's a good feeling when you wire the parts together and the light illuminates when the power is applied. The circuit information is based on Rimstarorg's tutorial on JT, which gives an excellent explanation on how the JT works.
