The clear blue sky makes today my best day yet for solar cooking. More pork roast, rice, and I threw in two loaves of bread. To save some work, I used my bread maker to knead the dough.
They all came out beautifully in less time than I thought. The hot steam almost burnt me as I didn't expect the oven to go over 280 degree F. With a regular oven, you just get heat and not that blast of steam. So be careful when using a solar oven.
With this oven, the optimum cooking time is from 10am to 2pm when the sun is at the best angle.
