Bolivian Recycled Homes Made of Litter

"Ingrid Vaca Diez always had a penchant for keeping empty bottles and stacking them up in the patio of her Santa Cruz residence in Bolivia. One day her husband indignantly pointed out that she officially had enough bottles to "build a house."*

Ingrid Vaca Diez is helping to solve the litter problem and the homelessness problem in one fell sweep, by building homes out of plastic bottles and dirt. Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, and Bolivian expert Dave Koller break it down.
