Free energy for cooking. Nothing beats that. In a SHTF situation, when fuel conservation is important enough to worry about every ounce, its good to know we can use the sun. The sun is a constant energy resource. Learning to cook in a solar oven takes some practice. Like everything else we have learned here, its practice that counts.
