Test conducted for flow visualization of intake/fuel air mixture (FAM) behavior. Combustion turbulence using nanosecond corona streamers in various locations prior to combustion. This results in negligible inlet pressure drop over using obstacle/swirl devices to allow ultra-lean to ulta-rich combustion in compact combustors. In the latter slow motion section the crackling sound is the micro-turbulence in the secondary flow. All flow changes are controlled by active-corona modifications. When connected to the detonation chamber the pulse rate is adjusted to any desired pulse rate up to the max supported by intake flow rate.
