How to generate electricity with a Peltier module and the Seebeck effect along with info about the difference between a thermoelectric cooler type Peltier module and a thermoelectric generator type. This demonstration uses a temperature difference between two containers of water. It lights an LED with the help of a joule thief circuit, also known as a blocking oscillator circuit.
