This is a time lapse video of my camper van conversion, which took about 2 years and 8 months. It took so long because I built my van while I was working, taking care of my dad (he has dementia), and in the middle of it I renovated my condo and moved.

I had no prior experience in construction, electricity, solar, or plumbing. But I did it anyway, and I loved every second of it.

If you're interested in doing a van conversion yourself, I invite you to download a free guide choosing a vehicle for van dwelling at http://defyingnormal.com/guide

For a list of gear that I used in my conversion, please see http://defyingnormal.com/gear
