Description

Even though the electrodes are only 1 cm by 1cm, the maximum voltage is still 0.5 volts, outperforming all my other supercapacitors yet still being far smaller (the duct tape around the electrodes is far bigger than the electrodes themselves). I was amazed when I read the result off my multimeter. To make the electrodes, I took the residue graphite from the electrochemical method of making graphene (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi80K4RaBIE) and coated paper with it. Then I pressed aluminum foil firmly against the coated side of the paper. The paper acted as the separator for the supercapacitor and the aluminum foil acted as the charge collector. My next goal is to build a graphene supercapacitor.
