I picked this type of sterling engine because it looked like the easiest, Unfortunatly for me I soon discovered i had actually picked one of the most tricky stirling engines to get running, After about a weeks messing around trying different piston strokes , Tube Diameters Tube lengths and wire positions I finally got the engine to fire after a few more days tweeking i managed to improve it to this stage all in its taken about 2 weeks!

There are no valves , Inlets or Exhausts or displacers in this engine at all. it is a totaly sealed unit reliying purley on thermo acoustics to run , This perticular one will run at upto 5 to 6 revs per second and runs for about 2 hours on a tank of meths
