Making Biodiesel with Ron

Thank you Ron for teaching me how to make homemade biodiesel. Instructions for this recipe are at the end o the video. I forgot to include a shop of us draining the glycerin off of the appleseed. After the biodiesel process has run for several hours we turn off the heat and let the system cool down. When we drain off the glycerin from the bottom of the apple seed, about a gallon of so of black looking fluid is bleed off before the golden biodiesel begins to drain out. Once we see the biodiesel( golden colored) we divert it into our final process which is the drying stage. Here we cook the biodiesel until it reaches around 115 degrees f. At that point most of the methanol and water has evaporated off. You can let the biodiesel cool and then run it though a finishing filter.
