Making graphene by intercalation and exfoliation - DIY Step by step

In this short clip we show how to make (few layered) graphene out of graphite by intercalating it with a mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid. The batch used in the video was left for a week before being microwaved.

The end result is graphene with +/- 0,6 ohms of resistance which was later used to make a super capacitor. A video showing the performance of the super cap will follow shortly.
