My solar power system, off-grid and grid tied system combination (DIY)

500 watts solar panels
20 A charge controller for 300 watts solar panels (max output current is 17.5 A)
20 A glass fuse, circuit breaker as switch to charge the battery
200 AH deep cycle battery bank
350 watts grid tie inverter for the 300 watts panel
300 watts micro grid tie inverter for the other 200 watt panel
1000 watts off grid inverter
Installed in July, 2014

This is a manual hybrid solar power system. When the batteries are fully charged, turn off the circuit breaker and turn on the grid tie inverter. Current will flow through the grid tie inverter. When the batteries are below 50%, turn off the grid tie inverter and turn on the circuit breaker to recharge the batteries.
