Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology is used in many gas generators and compressed air systems. Depending on the properties of the Desiccant Material within the regenerating columns, pressure swing adsorption can either; generate nitrogen by adsorbing the oxygen within the compressed air, filter out CO2 or remove water vapour from the passing air, hydrogen or nitrogen stream.

DRYING: Pressure swing adsorption is a heatless method or drying air of gas, which results in a very low pressure dew point.
